GUARDIANSHIP
The figure of the Guardian, for underage students who are going to stay in the country for a period of more than 12 weeks, is mandatory by law. The Guardian must be an adult, with no criminal record. It must be available 24/7 to attend to the child's needs.
Legal responsibilities of the Guardian:
• You can make decisions regarding medical emergencies or surgical operations if necessary.
• Must represent the interest of the child in the courts of England, Wales and Ireland, immigration offices, police and other institutions.
• You must provide the child with a place to live in case of illness, suspension or expulsion from school. Also, in case of sudden closure of the school due to major causes (fire, flood and others).
Our guardians
We carefully select the Guardians who will work with us. All our Guardians are at a maximum distance of one hour from the school where the child is interned.
We are the point of union between you and the school. We are in permanent contact with the school for anything that may arise. We visit the child once a quarter and meet with the tutor or with the House parent, subsequently preparing a detailed report of the visit. We can also attend special school events in which the child participates, plays or sports day.Let's know how important it is for children that parents accompany them in these days and if you can't, we will go in your place. Purchase of clothes, toiletries, school supplies, birthday gifts... the course is very long and there may be material needs that we take care of.
Exeats
Your peace of mind is our priority, we know how important it is for you that the child is well cared for on weekends when the school closes. That is why we have selected a series of both Spanish and English families to guarantee a pleasant stay and that the child feels at home. We pickup the child on Friday at the exit and leave him on Sunday at the time that the school stipulates. During the weekend we carry out activities and / or excursions and pay special attention to meals and the well-being of the child in general.
